Total of 854 high school graduates in Tatarstan fail to achieve minimal score at unified state exam in physics

Preliminary results of the unified state examinations in physics and foreign languages have been made public. On its website,Tatarstan Education and Science Ministry reports that 5,930 pupils in Tatarstan took the examination in physics, ten of them scoring 100 points. A total of 854, or 14.4 percent of the graduates, failed to attain the minimal score.
A total of 1,474 graduates took the exam in English, with only one of them scoring 100 points. Twenty two graduates, or 1.5 percent, failed to cross the minimal threshold.
Thirty nine graduates took the exam in German, achieving an average score of 64.4 points. Seventeen people took the exam in French, their average score being 76.3 points, while it was 70.8 in 2013.
“We hope this campus’ participants will never forget their teams, these days and Tatarstan,” acting Tatarstan President Ildar Khalikov said while closing the 5th Presidential Academy’s Summer Campus event at Innopolis.
On July 13 in the afternoon, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn opening of the 3d Regional open Olympiad of young geologists of Tatarstan in Almetievsk region.
The event runs on 21 to 23 April. An official ceremony to open the 6th republican youth forum Our Tatarstan took place at Kazan’s IT Park on 21 April. Attendees included Aide to Tatarstan President Leila Fazleeva and Tatarstan Deputy Youth Affairs and Sport Minister Rustam Garifullin.
