A total of over 28.5 million roubles has been raised to help Tatarstan schools within a campaign called Help Prepare for School. Tatarstan deputy education minister Svetlana Giniyatullina said it at a briefing on Monday.
The Help Prepare for School campaign has at the initiative of Tatarstan governor Rustam Minnikhanov been held for the second year. “The purpose of the drive is to raise the awareness of school graduates, prominent business people and company executives, so they remember the school that gave them knowledge and whose graduates they once were,” she commented.
According to the latest reports, graduates at practically 446 municipal educational organisations helped their schools within the campaign, raising a total of over 28.5 million roubles.
“We hope this campus’ participants will never forget their teams, these days and Tatarstan,” acting Tatarstan President Ildar Khalikov said while closing the 5th Presidential Academy’s Summer Campus event at Innopolis.
On July 13 in the afternoon, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn opening of the 3d Regional open Olympiad of young geologists of Tatarstan in Almetievsk region.
