Results of eight school students’ final tests annulled in Tatarstan

A total of 20,878 school students in Tatarstan sat for the unified state examination in the Russian language. Seven graduates in schools in the Baltasy, Zainsk, Novosheshminsk, Sarmanov and other regions, as well as the Kirov district of Kazan, were removed for breaching the rules of examination. One student was removed for using reference materials, the Tatarstan Education Ministry reports on its website.
The State Examination Commission at a meeting on 28 May ruled to annul the results of the Russian language exam submitted by all the offenders. Upon additional examination of files obtained from the Education Oversight and Supervision Department, decisions on allowing each student to re-take the exam will be made.
