Student from Naberezhnye Chelny wins prize at 3D computer modelling international competition

The winners of the 11th international competition called Future Aces of 3D Computer Modelling were on Saturday awarded in Saint-Petersburg.
The expert commission ruled to give to Stanislav Sharygin, a 4-year student at the Kama State Automotive College, the special prize For Creative Approach and Artistic Performance.
Sharygin entered models of the carcasses of dinosaurs, made in the Kompas 3D modelling system.
The Future Aces of 3D Computer Modelling is an international competition for school and college students, held annually by the Askon company, a leading Russian developer of engineering software and the Kompas 3D popular modelling system.
In 2013, 217 designers, presenting 191 projects from 92 educational establishments in Russia, the Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Moldavia, took part in the competition.
“We hope this campus’ participants will never forget their teams, these days and Tatarstan,” acting Tatarstan President Ildar Khalikov said while closing the 5th Presidential Academy’s Summer Campus event at Innopolis.
On July 13 in the afternoon, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn opening of the 3d Regional open Olympiad of young geologists of Tatarstan in Almetievsk region.
The event runs on 21 to 23 April. An official ceremony to open the 6th republican youth forum Our Tatarstan took place at Kazan’s IT Park on 21 April. Attendees included Aide to Tatarstan President Leila Fazleeva and Tatarstan Deputy Youth Affairs and Sport Minister Rustam Garifullin.
