Tatarstan residents reluctant to receive kindergarten care fee compensation

A little over 14 thousand additional compensations of the kindergarten care fees had been allocated in Tatarstan.
From 1 January, 2014, a new target support measure in the form of additional compensation of a part of kindergarten care fee was established in Tatarstan, recalled the minister. The compensation is calculated per household member income and is targeted. The federal compensation for parents is kept intact, about 72 thousand families in Tatarstan receiving the type of compensation.
А work to explain the terms of paying additional compensation, admit documents and consult, had been organised in Tatarstan kindergartens. A total of 14 thousand additional compensations, and 4.5 thousand federal compensations for families with children going to kindergartens, had been allocated, said the minister.
As little as 38 percent of the invited individuals had applied for additional compensation, added the minister, up to 70 percent of them being individuals with per capita incomes lower than 10 thousand roubles a month.
