The First International tournament of the mathematics “League of the winners”

Yesterday the first international tournament ended in Kazan.
Sixteen teams from Russian regions and abroad were invited to the tournament. The selection of teams for the tournament was made by the results of the different mathematics tournaments.The famous mathematic teachers were invited to asses the results of the competition.
The Moscow team succeeded in the junior league (9-year students). Tatarstan’s 9-year students came in third. Kazan team won in the senior league (10-11 years), outperforming Saint-Petersburg in the final battle.

The event runs on 21 to 23 April. An official ceremony to open the 6th republican youth forum Our Tatarstan took place at Kazan’s IT Park on 21 April. Attendees included Aide to Tatarstan President Leila Fazleeva and Tatarstan Deputy Youth Affairs and Sport Minister Rustam Garifullin.
