On 10 April, an annual national forum of young scientists and specialists called Toward The Future will take place in Kazan. This year’s edition’s main topics are young people’s integration with the international science community, Russia’s innovative development, and younger scientists’ engagement in projects related to energy and resource saving, as well as building a healthy urban environment.
The forum is organised by Kazan Committee for Children and Youth; Young Scientists and Specialists Council; Volga State Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism Academy; Kazan State Energy University; Kazan Federal University; and others.
Reports will be delivered by Russian State Duma members, Eurasia Union of Young Scientists and Specialists (Moscow), Russian Academy of Sciences Academic Council for Integrated Problems of Eurasian Economic Integration, Modernisation, Competitiveness and Sustainable Development, and by others.
The agenda includes a plenary session, three workshop meetings and a visit to an energy efficiency training centre. Based on the forum’s results, participants are to be awarded certificates and a resolution is to be issued, says Kazan Committee for Children and Youth.
