Tatarstan Information Technologies Centre Executive Director Tatiana Kamaletdinova opened the second day, welcoming those gathered and wishing them success. “We rely on you as on younger people who will in the future increase Tatarstan’s prosperity, help our republic to not only profit from mineral wealth recovery but from the work done by intelligent and highly qualified specialists as well,” she noted. “You are future tenants of IT Park and Innopolis. The knowledge and skills you receive today are very valuable, since information will always be the most expensive commodity in any industry.”
Kazan IT Park’s Business Incubator Chief Yaroslav Shvetsov made welcoming remarks. “At the business incubator, I often advise senior start-up entrepreneurs to follow your example. You are the people who will in the future implement new enterprise technologies and I am very pleased to see familiar faces in the audience.” Although an IT specialist is able to speak one language with counterparts worldwide, IT Jump graduates should remember their roots and work for the benefit of Tatarstan, Shvetsov advised.
The welcoming remarks were followed by presentations. Nine projects were submitted to the jury. According to organisers, they were ones of the strongest IT Jump participants. The list of presenters included tenants from IT Park’s Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny divisions, as well as participants and winners of industry-specific events.
The projects presented by IT Jump contenders were extremely varied, from augmented reality innovation technologies to dream cakes created with the help of online engineering kits.
Following each presentation, the audience could ask questions, which opportunity was made the most of, each project being discussed and commented on. In the conclusion, all nine teams received participation certificates. Three projects the jury appreciated the most were given winner certificates, reports the Tatarstan Information Technology and Communications
