Twenty five schools in Tatarstan included in list of Russia’s best educational establishments

Russia’s best educational institutions that last year displayed high results include 25 schools based in Tatarstan.
Moscow Centre for Continuous Mathematical Education with the support of Russia Today information agency, Teacher’s Newspaper and Russian Education and Science Ministry has compiled a list of 500 best schools.
Kazan Federal University’s Nikolai Lobachevsky School ranks 24th in the list of 25 best schools with highest academic results in 2013-2014.
A total of 19 Tatarstan-based schools are found on the top 500 list, including preparatory schools 2, 131, 145, Lobachevsky School, as well as upper secondary schools 7, 19, 102, 122, 139 and secondary schools 9, 39 and 132.
Besides, the best-performing rural Russian schools include five schools found in Tatarstan.
In the forming of the ranking proficiency indicators independent from comprehensive educational organisations, including results of unified state exam and results of Russian school Olympiad’s regional and concluding stages, were taken into account.
“We hope this campus’ participants will never forget their teams, these days and Tatarstan,” acting Tatarstan President Ildar Khalikov said while closing the 5th Presidential Academy’s Summer Campus event at Innopolis.
On July 13 in the afternoon, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn opening of the 3d Regional open Olympiad of young geologists of Tatarstan in Almetievsk region.
The event runs on 21 to 23 April. An official ceremony to open the 6th republican youth forum Our Tatarstan took place at Kazan’s IT Park on 21 April. Attendees included Aide to Tatarstan President Leila Fazleeva and Tatarstan Deputy Youth Affairs and Sport Minister Rustam Garifullin.
