Two educational centres to be opened in run-up to World Teacher’s Day

A ceremony timed to mark the Wold Teacher’s Day will take place at Kazan’s Basket Hall on 6 October. Attendees will be 3,500 best teachers of Tatarstan.
According to the local Education and Science Ministry, a National Education Centre and Republican Olympic Centre will be opened on the same day.
The national education centre’s main feature will be continuous education in the native language based on history, traditions and culture through providing continuity between kindergarten, school and higher educational establishment. The centre includes the Balakai kindergarten, preparatory school No 2 under Kazan Federal University and music school No 32.
The Republican Olympic Centre will focus on working with gifted children and talented educators. The institution provides every condition for gifted children’s comfort during intensive courses and other intellectual events. Every talented schoolchild in Tatarstan will be able to find an environment to display their potential here.
“We hope this campus’ participants will never forget their teams, these days and Tatarstan,” acting Tatarstan President Ildar Khalikov said while closing the 5th Presidential Academy’s Summer Campus event at Innopolis.
On July 13 in the afternoon, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn opening of the 3d Regional open Olympiad of young geologists of Tatarstan in Almetievsk region.
The event runs on 21 to 23 April. An official ceremony to open the 6th republican youth forum Our Tatarstan took place at Kazan’s IT Park on 21 April. Attendees included Aide to Tatarstan President Leila Fazleeva and Tatarstan Deputy Youth Affairs and Sport Minister Rustam Garifullin.
