Over 10,000 Tatarstan pupils to write test final essay

The organization of a final essay will be tested in Tatarstan as in all Russian regions on 20 November. Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights Tatarstan Directorate recommended to use at least 30 percent of schools. As much as 50 percent of schools will write the test essay in the republic. Thus, over 10,000 graduates from 514 Tatarstan schools will take part in the test organization.

The testing is carried out to develop an exam’s organization because the essay writing is conducted in this format for the first time. The results of the test essay will be known no earlier than ten days. It should be reminded that the exam was brought into the state exam’s list from the current school year. The result of the works can be whether passed or not.

All Tatarstan graduates amounted to about 18,000 people this year will write the essay on 3 December.

Graduates of the past years are able to pass the final essay as well in order to present its results to universities. They need to register until 17 November.

If one does not pass, to retake the essay will be possible on 4 February and 6 May according to the Tatarstan Education and Science Ministry’s website.
