Number of unified state exam stations this year to be reduced
20 January 2015, Tuesday
The number of unified state exam stations in Tatarstan will be reduced this year as compared with the previous one. This year they will total ninety six, Tatarstan education and science minister Engel Fattakhov told a briefing at the Tatarstan Cabinet.
In 2014, all exam stations had been equipped with means of video surveillance, reported the minister. “This allowed to ensure objectivity and transparency in conducting the 11-grade graduates final assessment,” he stressed.
“At the instruction of the Federal Education Oversight and Control Service, the number of auditoriums with video broadcasting in Russia is planned to be increased to 80 percent in 2015. But we in Tatarstan plan to install video surveillance at 100 percent of unified state exam stations,” he added.
Besides, changes will be made to the order of issuing examination papers. Last year, Tatarstan State Examination Commission received them from Special Communication Department between 12:00 am and 7:00 am on the day of examination. In 2015, examination materials are expected to be delivered to the exam stations by department officials.
Last year, 19,585 people graduated from high schools in Tatarstan. This year, the number is expected to be 18,701.
“We hope this campus’ participants will never forget their teams, these days and Tatarstan,” acting Tatarstan President Ildar Khalikov said while closing the 5th Presidential Academy’s Summer Campus event at Innopolis.
On July 13 in the afternoon, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn opening of the 3d Regional open Olympiad of young geologists of Tatarstan in Almetievsk region.
The event runs on 21 to 23 April. An official ceremony to open the 6th republican youth forum Our Tatarstan took place at Kazan’s IT Park on 21 April. Attendees included Aide to Tatarstan President Leila Fazleeva and Tatarstan Deputy Youth Affairs and Sport Minister Rustam Garifullin.
