Student of Year 2014 studies at Kazan Federal University

Adina Kulmasova of Kazan Federal University won the tenth annual Student of the Year award’s Grand Prix.
Four Tatarstan-based higher educational institutions, Kazan Medical University, Kazan Energy University, Economics, Management and Law Institute, and Kazan Technology University, won in the Higher School of the Year nomination. They scored equal number of votes.
Tatarstan State Council chairman Farid Mukhametshin named the Grand Prix winner and region’s best higher schools. “It is not the first time I am allowed to give this award. But this anniversary meeting is more eventful than before,” he said. He then congratulated the organisers, university rectors and all those gathered.
“My congratulations to you on the first ten years of the project in Tatarstan. It has been a success,” Farid Mukhametshin stressed.
The parliament speaker went on to present to Adina Kulmasova an internship or master’s degree course studies certificate that can be used at a Russian or foreign university.
The military-patriotic organisation Legion of TISBI Management University and student organisation of Kazan Technology University’s trade union won in the Higher School’s Public Student Organisation.
Lyudmila Sosnova of Kazan Technology University was pronounced the best public activist of the year.
“We hope this campus’ participants will never forget their teams, these days and Tatarstan,” acting Tatarstan President Ildar Khalikov said while closing the 5th Presidential Academy’s Summer Campus event at Innopolis.
On July 13 in the afternoon, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn opening of the 3d Regional open Olympiad of young geologists of Tatarstan in Almetievsk region.
The event runs on 21 to 23 April. An official ceremony to open the 6th republican youth forum Our Tatarstan took place at Kazan’s IT Park on 21 April. Attendees included Aide to Tatarstan President Leila Fazleeva and Tatarstan Deputy Youth Affairs and Sport Minister Rustam Garifullin.
