Russia bids to hold WorldSkills Competition in 2019 in Kazan

Russia has applied for holding the 2019 WorldSkills Competition in Kazan. The signatories of respective documents were WorldSkills Russia union director general Robert Urazov and Russia Education Ministry’s Department of Personnel Training State Policy director Natalia Zolotaryova. Kazan has been selected as the bidding city. According to the union director, Tatarstan has every chance to win, as it held successfully the WorldSkills national championship in 2014, as well as a number of other large events in the previous years, WorldSkills Russia says on its website.
