As much as 20 kindergartens for 3210 children to be build in Kazan

It is planned to build 20 kindergartens for 3210 places in Kazan. This was reported today at a press briefing in City Hall by head of city department on capital construction and reconstruction Marat Samigullin.

As M.Samigullin noted, programs of educational institutions and kindergartens overhaul were being implemented now. Over the previous two years, 33 kindergartens for 4560 children were built. Taking into account overhaul and additional groups opened, 5380 places were created in existing preschool.

Six kindergartens for 900 children will be opened in Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts, three (for 640 children), nine (for 1370 children) in Sovetsky district , two (for 300 children) in Aviasrtoitelny and Novo-Savinovsky district.

Kindergartens are built on standard projects of Tatinvestgrazhdanproekt. The total investment is 1.864 billion rubles.

To date, construction of kindergartens involves by 1.5 thousand people, work is carried out on almost all sites. Main construction and installation work will be completed in July. Then, a procedure of objects delivery to inspecting authorities will start.

Reporters noted at the briefing that there had been rapid construction in Kazan. They wondered whether there would be land for the construction of kindergartens.

As M.Samigullin assured, there would always be land for this purpose, despite the fact that birth rate increased every year in Kazan.
