Number of students at Ana Tele school climbs up to 2,042

A briefing themed On Launching a Tatar Language Teaching Project, Ana Tele, today took place in Kazan.
Attendees were Tatarstan first deputy education and science minister, Danil Mustafin, and EF Corporate Language Learning Solutions Russia and CIS general director, Eduard Baldakov.
The Tatar teaching project, Ana Tele, is carried out at the instruction of President of Tatarstan in collaboration with the company EF Education First.
Linguists, philologists and teachers are involved in the project.
“The Ana Tele project includes 9 linguistic levels, allowing achieve a command of language stronger than basic. The project’s innovativeness is speaking lessons with a Tatar language teacher,” Danil Mustafin noted.
While the number of online subscribers had on 8 February been 780, on 11 February it had climbed up to 1,380 and to 2,042 on 13 February, the official added.
EF Corporate Language Learning Solutions Russia and CIS took over, demonstrating to journalists how to use the programme.
“Ana Tele contains a great many video, audio and photo materials,” he said. “Upon finishing each lesson, a student takes several tests, to consolidate their knowledge, after which the system gives them a mark and points to mistakes, yet reinforcing user’s motivation.”
“We hope this campus’ participants will never forget their teams, these days and Tatarstan,” acting Tatarstan President Ildar Khalikov said while closing the 5th Presidential Academy’s Summer Campus event at Innopolis.
On July 13 in the afternoon, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn opening of the 3d Regional open Olympiad of young geologists of Tatarstan in Almetievsk region.
The event runs on 21 to 23 April. An official ceremony to open the 6th republican youth forum Our Tatarstan took place at Kazan’s IT Park on 21 April. Attendees included Aide to Tatarstan President Leila Fazleeva and Tatarstan Deputy Youth Affairs and Sport Minister Rustam Garifullin.
