Education. Career exhibition kicks off in Kazan

The 13th specialised exhibition called Education. Career has today opened in Kazan.
The event, arranged with the support of Tatarstan Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, as well as Kazan Mayor’s Office, will take place on 3 to 5 April. Over 120 exhibitors, including higher educational institutions, training centres, vocational schools, employment agencies, publishing houses and others, present achievements in the fields of education, innovative projects, training programmes, courses and vacancies for future and present specialists.
Tatarstan State Council chairman, Farid Mukhametshin, education minister, Engel Fattakhov, labour, employment and social security minister, Airat Shafigullin, and others, attended the opening ceremony.
“Exhibitions like this one, I think, aim to achieve the global task set by President of Tatarstan in his annual address to the State Council: by 2016 Tatarstan producers of goods and services to reach a manufacturing target of 2 trillion roubles. The task is not easy, very important and one that requires solving each small task within the big one,” parliament speaker stated.
Education minister told about the purpose of the exhibition, noting that the event had brought together educational institutions, specialists engaged in personnel training, employers and main participants of the process, students.
After a tour of the halls, F. Mukhametshin told journalists he had been pleasantly surprised by the large number of young people present, although he had expected more employers.
