The results of the first final high school examinations were announced on Wednesday. Three high school undergraduates had earned 100 points in geography exam, two had done in literature exam.
A unified state examination in mathematics is today held in Kazan. More than 200 Kazan school undergraduates take it at school No 116 where one of the Tatarstan’s 86 examination stations is quartered.

Tatarstan’s Revival Foundation board of trustees chairman Mintimer Shaimiev on the Children’s Day presented awards to the winners of a Tatarstan-wide Bolgar and Sviyazhsk themed drawing and essay competition. The ceremony took place at the Kazan Kremlin. Other attendees were Tatarstan Education and Science Minister Engel Fattakhov, Revival Foundation executive director Tatiana Larionova, and other officials.

The Republic of Tatarstan’s team won the 3rd WorldSkills Russia national championship’s final. The award ceremony was held at Kazan’s Tatneft Arena on Saturday, attendees being Russia deputy government chairman Olgar Golodets, acting Tatarstan president Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan education minister Engel Fattakhov and other officials.
The unified state exam’s main stage began in Russia today with examinations in geography and literature.

An international training forum Future Skills opened in Kazan earlier in the day. Participants are official and technical delegates from WorldSkills International movement member states, national WSI organisation executives, researchers, experts and business officials.

The Third national WorldSkills Russia championship’s final opened in Kazan on Tuesday evening. Attendees at the ceremony were Russian Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets, acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and WorldSkills Russia agency for professional communities and working personnel promotion general director Robert Urazov.

Between 19 and 23 May, Kazan will host the final round of the 3rd national professional skills championship, WorldSkills. As last year, the event will be quartered at Kazan Fairs centre.

The name of the winner of Tatarstan Teacher of the Year 2015 has been announced. She is a Russian language and literature teacher at school No 151 in Kazan’s Kirov district Evgenia Rodionova.

Earlier in the day, Tatarstan Education and Science Minister Engel Fattakhov met with the winners of WorldSkills Russia 2015 championship’s regional stage held at Kazan Energy College’s resource centre.
Between 9 and 12 April, Tatarstan’s team will take part in the Volga Federal District competition in Samara. Tatarstan team will be represented in all 15 competences: refrigerating and ventilation equipment maintenance, turned work with use of computer aided machine tools, costume design, agricultural machinery, car repair and maintenance, confectionary, cooking, hairstyling, welding technologies, dry construction and plastering, and others.
